2010 begins

Happy New Year !

This little reading room is on holiday while my wonderful sister and brother-in-law are visiting – so until next week, I hope you are all enjoying the books you received over the holidays and I look forward to reading you soon!

p.s. I recently finished Nicholas Nickleby, Luisa in Realityland and City of Thieves….lots to discuss when I get back

  1. HNY! Looking forward to your thoughts on Nickleby–as I was looking through Dickens’ stuff recently I knew that NN is one of the main ones that I haven’t read, and when I saw where it stands in the sequence I wanted to read it. Not sure when I’ll get to it, but I hope you liked it and I’m looking forward to your comments.

  2. I hope you are enjoying your vacation. I also left the blog aside during my full Japanese winter season. Now back, I have actually even written about a book and plan to do more. I read an interesting children’s book about haiku which is next up.
